Privacy Policy

Overview

Sequna is a puzzle game that respects your privacy. Most gameplay data stays on your device. If you choose to use Apple Game Center, leaderboard and achievement data is shared with Apple. The Sequna website (sequna.com) collects only anonymous, aggregate analytics through Cloudflare; no personal data is collected or linked to you as an individual.

Data Collected

iOS app

None, except that fetching the daily puzzle requires a network request to sequna.com. Cloudflare transiently processes your IP address to serve that request (consistent with how the website works), but no personal data is collected or stored by Sequna.

If you choose to use Apple Game Center, the app submits gameplay data such as leaderboard scores (best completion times) to Apple so leaderboards and achievements can work. This Game Center data is processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

All other gameplay data — including your statistics, progress, saved levels, and gameplay content — is stored locally on your device only.

Anonymous, aggregate analytics only. See the Analytics section below for details. No personal data is collected, stored, or linked to you.

Tracking

Sequna does not track you. We do not link any data about you with data from third-party apps, websites, or services, and we do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers. This applies to both the iOS app and the website.

Analytics

No analytics of any kind.

Website (sequna.com)

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics: page views, referrer, browser and device type, and country-level location. No cookies are set and visitors are not tracked across sites or linked to any identity.

Cloudflare transiently processes IP addresses solely to derive aggregate statistics (such as country); IP addresses are not stored or linked to individuals. Analytics data is processed by Cloudflare per their privacy policy.

Advertising

None. There are no ads in Sequna.

Diagnostics & Crash Reporting

None. Sequna does not collect crash data, performance data, or any other diagnostic data.

Account Creation

Not required. Sequna does not create or manage user accounts.

Level Sharing

When you share a level, it is encoded directly in a URL. No server stores the level data. The recipient's device decodes the level from the URL itself. No gameplay content ever leaves your device in any other way.

In-App Purchase

The level-sharing unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. Sequna does not receive, store, or have access to any payment information or purchase history. Your unlock status is stored locally on your device by StoreKit.
